Project Sponsors: Mini-reading for Teens: $500. Fund the reading of a scene from the play, with facilitated discussion, at a school or an after-school program. Mini-reading for Adults: $700. Fund the reading of a scene from the play, with facilitated discussion, with a group such as a chamber of commerce, a parent-teacher organization, or a group of legislators at the State House. Mini-Performance for Teens: $1,800. Fund the full performance of a scene from the play, with lights, staging, and facilitated discussion, at a school, an after-school program, or an agency. Youth Voices Sponsor: $2,000. Fund the participation of community teens in the production of a reading. Young people will be given stipends to help with production, participate in 1-4 day writing workshops and contribute rap lyrics, spoken word performances or formal poetry to the event. Poster Sponsor: $3,000. Fund the design, printing and distribution of a poster, which will be offered to all venues. Website Development Sponsor: $3,500. Fund the development of an interactive website on which venue hosts can announce their readings and report audience responses. Through the website, participants in this national circle of dedicated supporters can communicate to each other about developing grassroots strategies and legislative ideas.
